Finally

I must say, after all the struggle and turmoil I went through, it is such a relief to see that volume 1 is over and done with. Now you might ask why it so long to write a three hundred page book, and I’ll tell you.

Originally, Orpha was supposed to include all three parts, otherwise known as volumes. In all, including all the extra materials, the book would have been about a thousand and a hundred pages long. Can you believe that, lol.

As I wouldn’t be able to publish it in that instance, I decided to divide it into three parts. Looking back, this decision was probably for the best, as there’s now more space for the story to breathe.

Amusingly enough, it also explains the kindergarten-esque drawings over bits of the extra materials in the book. Basically, there are to cover up information that would be spoilers otherwise. As the story progresses, more and more information will be revealed as they become relevant to the narrative.

In all, I’m quite glad that despite all the various setbacks we faced, part 1 of Orpha has finally been published. Please look forward to Volume 2’s release.
